The German made ZelFlex system offers two types of reusable frame which can both be adapted to suit a wide variety of printers. The ZelFlex Z4P frame accepts a bare shim stencil with perforated edges. The ZelFlex Protect accepts shim stencils which have a blue protective edge to reduce the risk of injury to operators during changeover.

LPKF ZelFlex Protect
The LPKF ZelFlex Protect is a pneumatic 4-sided high-speed clamping frame for stencils pre-fitted with a protective edge. It provides direct assembly of the stencils within the frame.

One of the greatest advantages of LPKF ZelFlex Protect is its unique design and simple handling, while the protection of stencil and operator is increased. The new ZelFlex Protect offers significant advantages in comparison to other framing solutions.
The metal stencil is permanently fixed by Mastercut with a light, protective edge. This makes handling easier and prevents possible operator injuries on the sharp stencil edges.
Stencils are kept in the protective edge for as long as they are needed. The unique solution allows the stencil to be washed and stored together with the protective edge. The edge can then be reused after a stencil is obsolete.
The frame design enables direct and quick clamping of stencils which have been fitted with the protective edge. Additional tools are not required. Handling with the ZelFlex protective system is easy, and it does not require any special skills.
The frame is available in standard 584 x 584 x 25 mm (23" x 23" x 1") version and it is also available with an adapter to full size 736 x 736 mm (29" x 29").
